TRANSGENIA, A CONTRAMÃO DA SOBERANIA ALIMENTAR: ELEMENTOS PARA DISCUSSÃO
Este ensaio é derivado de um artigo ainda não publicado, no qual fazemos uma crítica à biotecnologia de alimentos e a produção agrícola embasada no cultivo de espécies geneticamente modificadas. A metodologia utilizada é de cunho na pesquisa bibliográfica e na análise documental sobre a temática. Para isso, buscamos autores que realizaram estudos críticos sobre o tema, confrontando-os com a argumentação que defende a utilização de tais tecnologias visando ao cultivo das monoculturas de exportação. Como resultado concluímos que o desenvolvimento técnico-científico deve estar a serviço da solução dos grandes problemas que assolam a humanidade. Na agricultura, ele pode aprimorar espécies e manter o ecossistema terrestre. A luta é para que a ciência avance, de uma tecnocracia que domina o homem, para uma tecnologia a serviço da humanidade.

Abstract:
This essay is derived from an article not yet published, in which we criticize food biotechnology and agricultural production based on the cultivation of genetically modified species. The methodology used is in the bibliographic research and documental analysis on the subject. To that end, we have sought to carry out critical studies on the subject, confronting them with the argument that advocates the use of technologies for the cultivation of export monocultures. As a result we conclude that technical-scientific development must be at the service of solving the great problems that afflict humanity. In agriculture, it can enhance species and maintain the planetarium ecosystem. The struggle is for science to advance, from a technocracy that dominates the man, to a technology at the service of humanity.
