SETE ANOS DE INVESTIGAÇÃO EM RELAÇÕES PÚBLICAS - PERCURSOS DO PRIMEIRO MESTRADO EM GESTÃO ESTRATÉGICA DAS RELAÇÕES PÚBLICAS EM PORTUGAL
Respondendo ao desafio lançado pela Comissão Organizadora do 10º Congresso da SOPCOM – Associação Portuguesa de Ciências da Comunicação, subordinado ao tema “Ciências da Comunicação: Vinte Anos de Investigação em Portugal”, realizou-se uma abordagem retrospetiva, a partir de uma análise de conteúdo de cariz quantitativo, focada nos trabalhos de investigação realizados no âmbito no primeiro mestrado em Gestão Estratégica das Relações Públicas em Portugal, para traçar os percursos até então trilhados em termos de tipos de trabalho apresentados, posicionamento da área de estudo, de ramos de atividade escolhidos e de caminhos metodológicos. A partir desta análise procurou-se, numa lógica prospetiva, contribuir ainda para uma melhoria da qualidade dos trabalhos de investigação a desenvolver.

Abstract:
Responding to the challenge launched by the organising committee of the 10th Congress of SOPCOM – Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences, subject to the theme "Communication Sciences: Twenty years of research in Portugal", was held an retrospective approach, based on a quantitative content analysis, focused on research carried out under the first master's degree in Public Relations Strategic Management in Portugal, to trace the paths hitherto pursued in terms of types of research presented, the field of study, areas of activity and the methodological pathways. From this analysis it was sought, in a prospective logic, to contribute to an improvement in the quality of the research to be developed.
