NIVEL DE ESTRÉS DE DOCENTES UNIVERSITARIOS EN LATINOAMÉRICA EN TIEMPOS DE COVID-19
La pandemia del COVID-19 surgida a finales del año 2019, impactó de forma dramática a todo el planeta, quedando en evidencia que la humanidad no estaba preparada para un acontecimiento de esta naturaleza. Esta pandemia afectó a muchos ámbitos de la sociedad, uno de ellos, la educación a nivel universitario, siendo el objetivo esencial de esta investigación indagar respecto a los niveles de estrés que pudo haber causado el coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 en los docentes de las instituciones de educación superior en Latinoamérica. El trabajo se llevó a cabo mediante la realización de una investigación documental, abordándose la problemática planteada a través de la búsqueda, revisión y análisis de estudios realizados sobre la temática, que, por ser de data reciente, en esencia, la información se ubicó en artículos científicos publicados en revistas arbitradas e indexadas. La circunstancia del estrés de los docentes universitarios es un escenario que siempre ha estado presente en este oficio, ello debido al compromiso y las exigencias que un rol de esta naturaleza requiere, pero que la pandemia del COVID-19 hizo que recrudeciese aún más. De la revisión de los estudios salieron a relucir de manera general términos tales como tecnoestrés, burnout, procrastinación, coronateaching, afrontamiento y resilencia, entre otros, los cuales contribuyeron para tener una adecuada dimensión del asunto. Los resultados arrojados de la investigación indican que esta es una problemática que aún se está escribiendo, pero no queda duda que la situación en las universidades cambió a raíz que se desató la pandemia, y no parece haber razones para pensar que se podrá volver a lo que se entendía como normalidad pre-pandemia. Esta realidad hay que sopesarla detenidamente en las universidades, y con más razón en las instituciones latinoamericanas, ya que éstas no cuentan con los recursos que si tienen las universidades del denominado primer mundo.

Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic that emerged at the end of 2019 dramatically impacted the entire planet, making it clear that humanity was not prepared for an event of this nature. This pandemic affected many areas of society, one of them, education at the university level, the essential objective of this research being to investigate the levels of stress that the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus could have caused in the teachers of the higher education institutions in Latin America. The work was carried out by carrying out a documentary investigation, addressing the problem raised through the search, review and analysis of studies carried out on the subject, which, due to being of recent data, in essence, the information was located in Scientific articles published in refereed and indexed journals. The stress circumstance of university professors is a scenario that has always been present in this profession, due to the commitment and demands that a role of this nature requires, but that the COVID-19 pandemic made it worsen even more. From the review of the studies, terms such as techno-stress, burnout, procrastination, coronateaching, coping and resilience, among others, came to light in a general way, which contributed to having an adequate dimension of the matter. The results of the investigation indicate that this is a problem that is still being written about, but there is no doubt that the situation in the universities changed as a result of the outbreak of the pandemic, and there seems to be no reason to think that it will be possible to return to the which was understood as pre-pandemic normality. This reality must be carefully weighed in universities, and even more so in Latin American institutions, since they do not have the resources that the so-called first world universities do.
