MÚSICA Y RENDIMIENTO ACADÉMICO EN ESTUDIANTES DE UNA UNIVERSIDAD PÚBLICA PERUANA
El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo realizar una aproximación a la identificación de los componentes que existen sobre los gustos musicales y rendimiento académico en una muestra de 84 estudiantes universitarios de la región sur del Perú. Esta investigación fue de tipo básico y de nivel descriptivo. Se empleó una encuesta para recopilar la información. Los resultados mostraron preferencia por la Música latinoamericana – andina, Música cumbia, Música rock and pop y por la Música clásica, de igual forma, se apertura un trabajo inicial para continuar con investigaciones relacionadas. Finalmente, se evidenció una temática que requiere mayor exploración y atención teórica dentro del escenario académico y de investigación.

Abstract:
The objective of this research work was to carry out an approach to the identification of the components that exist on musical tastes and academic performance in a sample of 84 university students from the southern region of Peru. This research was of a basic type and descriptive level. A survey was used to collect the information. The results showed a preference for Latin American - Andean Music, Cumbia Music, Rock and Pop Music and Classical Music, in the same way, an initial work was opened to continue with related research. Finally, a theme was evidenced that requires further exploration and theoretical attention within the academic and research scenario.
