MUJERES PERIODISTAS EN GUADALAJARA. ENTRE LA PRODUCCIÓN DE LA NOTICIA Y LAS CUESTIONES DE GÉNERO.
El presente trabajo fue realizado durante una estancia académica en la Universidad de Guadalajara, México. El objetivo fue describir la situación que han vivido las reporteras de la capital de Jalisco para ejercer el periodismo. Se eligió esta región por ser una de las más importantes del país y porque también todavía existen pocos datos del trabajo periodístico que se hace en la república mexicana. Se utilizó la entrevista como técnica para indagar la forma en que trabajaban en sus respectivos periódicos y se eligieron a seis periodistas mujeres: Rosario Bareño, Daniela Geomar, Priscilla Hernández, Vanessa Robles, Laura Castro Golarte y Esperanza Romero. La entrevista giró en siete puntos: 1) Su decisión de ser periodista; 2) El género periodístico que dominan; 3) La fuente informativa asignada: 4) La forma de trabajo; 5) El ambiente laboral; 6) El salario que perciben; y, 7) Los problemas que enfrentan para realizar su labor. La revisión sobre las condiciones del periodismo en Jalisco y los testimonios de las periodistas permiten advertir que estos escenarios periodísticos siguen siendo mal pagados, que la perspectiva crítica es castigada con la censura, el veto o la amenaza. La desventaja en derechos y apoyos, la preferencia de ser periodista independiente y la ausencia de una perspectiva de género en el campo laboral periodístico, confirma que en este siglo XX en el campo periodístico sigue siendo una desventaja ser mujer

Abstract:
The present work was carried out during an academic stay at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. The objective was to describe the situation that reporters from the capital of Jalisco have experienced to practice journalism. This region was chosen because it is one of the most important in the country and because there is still little data on the journalistic work that is done in the Mexican Republic. The interview was used as a technique to find out how they worked in their respective newspapers and six female journalists were chosen: Rosario Bareño, Daniela Geomar, Priscilla Hernández, Vanessa Robles, Laura Castro Golarte and Esperanza Romero. The interview revolved around seven points: 1) His decision to be a journalist; 2) The journalistic genre they dominate; 3) The information source assigned: 4) The way of working; 5) The work environment; 6) The salary they receive; and, 7) The problems they face to carry out their work. The review on the conditions of journalism in Jalisco and the testimonies of the journalists allow us to notice that these journalistic scenarios continue to be poorly paid, that the critical perspective is punished with censorship, veto or threat. The disadvantage in rights and support, the preference of being an independent journalist and the absence of a gender perspective in the journalistic work field, confirm that in this 20th century in the journalistic field it is still a disadvantage to be a woman.
