IGUALDAD, EQUIDAD E INCLUSIÓN DESDE UNA VISIÓN CURRICULAR EN LA UNIVERSIDAD ECUATORIANA.
En el trabajo se abordan los elementos conceptuales y metodológicos para la concepción curricular en la Educación Superior en Ecuador desde un enfoque intercultural, equitativo e inclusivo. Se analizan las concepciones actuales del proceso de inclusión, así como las principales barreras que existen en la actualidad en este proceso en el contexto universitario. Se fundamenta un Plan de igualdad para lograr una formación inclusiva en el contexto universitario. Los principales resultados están dados en el fomento de la cultura de inclusión en la universidad, expresado esto en el perfeccionamiento del currículo universitario desde un enfoque inclusivo, la mejora de la infraestructura física y tecnológica, la capacitación permanente de los docentes y la implementación de políticas de acción afirmativa como parte del quehacer universitario.

Abstract:
This paper addresses the conceptual andmethodological elements for curriculumdesign in higher education in Ecuador froman intercultural, equitable and inclusiveapproach. It analyses the currentconceptions of the inclusion process, aswell as the main barriers that currentlyexist to this process in the university context. An equality plan is based onachieving inclusive education in theuniversity context. The main results havebeen the promotion of a culture of inclusionin the university, expressed in theimprovement of the university curriculumfrom an inclusive approach, theimprovement of the physical andtechnological infrastructure, the ongoingtraining of teachers and theimplementation of affirmative actionpolicies as part of university activities.
