FORTALECIENDO LA EDUCACIÓN EN INSTITUCIONES OFICIALES DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA Y MEDIA DE TUNJA CON APOYO EN LMS GRATUITAS
El uso de LMS permite llevar la educación a otro nivel, involucrando a docentes, estudiantes y padres de familia en el proceso formativo de una manera digital, globalizada e integrada, pero por las limitantes de presupuesto y el desconocimiento de las TIC, muchas instituciones no han podido tener la claridad de ¿Qué herramientas informáticas hay en la actualidad que apoye el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje y cómo implementarlas? El objetivo principal es asistir tecnológica e informáticamente a docentes, estudiantes y padres de familia de colegios oficiales de Tunja, en el uso de LMS que apoyen y mejoren el proceso educativo. Debido al trabajo comunitario y el resultado con énfasis social, la metodología implementada fue IAP (Investigación Acción-Participación), desarrollada por medio de las siguientes fases: i) exploración comunitaria, ii) ejecución, iii) socialización y difusión y, iv) resultados. Los resultados alcanzados están enmarcados en el aporte a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible, a saber: 4-Educación de calidad, 8-trabajo decente y crecimiento económico, 9-Industria, innovación e infraestructura, 10-Reducción de las desigualdades y 17-Alianzas para lograr los objetivos. Se pudo concluir: i) Se fortaleció la relación entre los docentes de las I.E. públicas, asimismo los estudiantes fueron receptores de dicho proyecto, dándose a conocer los diferentes servicios que existen en la Universidad de Boyacá como proyección social universitaria, y que nutren las competencias académicas de otras instituciones. ii) Los docentes al recibir alfabetización TIC en el uso de LMS brindó herramientas, estrategias y metodologías que potencializan su creatividad y la calidad educativa. iii) Se mantiene un alto grado de analfabetismo digital por parte de muchos docentes, quienes no saben utilizar adecuadamente herramientas informáticas, sin embargo, la labor que realizaron los docentes de la Universidad de Boyacá en este proyecto logró disminuir esta brecha entre la tecnología disponible y la utilización por parte de los docentes.

Abstract:
The use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) has the potential to elevate education by engaging teachers, students, and parents in a digitally integrated and globalized learning process. However, due to budget constraints and limited understanding of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), many institutions lack clarity about the available computer tools that can support the teaching-learning process and how to effectively implement them. The primary objective of this project is to provide technological and computer support to teachers, students, and parents in official schools in Tunja, enabling them to utilize LMS to enhance and facilitate the educational process. To ensure community engagement and emphasize social impact, the Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology was employed. The project unfolded in the following phases: i) community exploration, ii) execution, iii) dissemination, and iv) results. The achieved outcomes align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, specifically: 4-Quality Education, 8-Decent Work and Economic Growth, 9-Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, 10-Reduced Inequalities, and 17-Partnerships for the Goals. In summary, the study's conclusions are as follows: i) The relationships among teachers in public educational institutions were reinforced. Students were also active participants, gaining exposure to the various services offered by the University of Boyacá through its university social outreach program. This initiative also aimed to enrich the academic capabilities of other institutions. ii) By equipping teachers with ICT literacy training for LMS usage, they acquired tools, strategies, and methodologies to enhance both creativity and educational quality. iii) Despite persistent digital illiteracy among some teachers, who lack proficiency in computer tool usage, the efforts of the University of Boyacá teachers in this project succeeded in bridging the gap between available technology and its utilization by educators.
