  • Abstract:

The objective of this research was to evaluate the low scientific productivity of researchers due to administrative tasks. The research approach was mixed-methods and longitudinal (initial, during consolidation, and final stages of refinement). The population consisted of 90 researchers from TESCo, and the sample comprised 4 faculty researchers selected at the researcher’s convenience. The results showed a significant improvement in productivity regardless of assigned administrative tasks. The synergy generated by the research group leader contributed to the impact on scientific productivity. This research concluded that perseverance in science leads to achievements such as membership in the National System of Researchers (SNII). It was found that age, research hours, doctoral level of training, and teaching experience determine researcher productivity, rather than administrative tasks.
