EVALUACIÓN AUTÉNTICA EN LA FORMACIÓN DE PROFESIONALES: SUS CARACTERÍSTICAS, ESTRATEGIAS E IMPORTANCIA
La evaluación auténtica se reconoce como una poderosa y pertinente herramienta por cuanto fomenta el aprendizaje activo, reflexivo y está orientado al desarrollo y demostración de competencias, facilitando la preparación del estudiantado de manera más integral para sumir los desafíos del futuro ejercicio profesional. En este contexto, interesa conocer, a partir del análisis de contenido comparativo de estudios previos, cómo se caracteriza esta estrategia evaluativa, las estrategias que se pueden aplicar y su importancia para la formación de profesionales a nivel de educación superior. Se analizaron ocho artículos de base de datos Scopus de los últimos cinco años y se concluye que la evaluación auténtica reviste importancia por cuanto responde a un enfoque para el aprendizaje significativo, favoreciendo principalmente el desarrollo de competencias, autonomía, metacognición y pensamiento crítico.

Abstract:
Authentic assessment is recognized as a powerful and relevant tool because it fosters active, reflective learning and is geared toward the development and demonstration of competencies, thereby helping to prepare students more comprehensively to meet the challenges of their future professional practice. In this context, it is of interest to determine, based on a comparative content analysis of previous studies, how this assessment strategy is characterized, the strategies that can be applied, and its importance for the training of professionals at the higher education level. Eight articles from the Scopus database published in the last five years were analyzed, and it was concluded that authentic assessment is important because it aligns with an approach to meaningful learning, primarily promoting the development of competencies, autonomy, metacognition, and critical thinking.
