EL USO DE TIC PARA EL APRENDIZAJE DE LA ESTADÍSTICA: UN ESTUDIO EN UNIVERSIDADES CHILENAS
En este estudio se presentan los resultados de una investigación sobre uso de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (TIC), en específico, el uso de software estadístico en universidades chilenas. Averiguamos, mediante el uso de una encuesta, el grado de uso de TIC durante el desarrollo de una clase de Estadística además de conocer si existen ciertas dificultades o creencias en los docentes sobre el uso de TIC. Adicional a esto, se realizó una revisión de los programas académicos de universidades chilenas con el fin de verificar si en estos aparece de manera explícita el uso de software como parte del desarrollo del curso, si el programa hace referencia a un software específico, si se explicita una planificación de sesiones de laboratorio y finalmente si se recomienda al estudiante una cantidad de horas de dedicación al trabajo autónomo en software estadístico.

Abstract:
In this study we present the results of an investigation on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), specifically, the use of statistical software in Chilean universities. We found out, through the use of a survey, the degree of use of ICT during the development of a Statistics class, as well as knowing if there are certain difficulties or beliefs in teachers about the use of ICT. In addition to this, a review of the academic programs of Chilean universities was carried out in order to verify whether the use of software appears explicitly as part of the course development, whether the program refers to specific software, if applicable. makes explicit a planning of laboratory sessions and finally if the student is recommended a number of hours of dedication to autonomous work in statistical software.
