CHIAKI ISHII – UMA PESQUISA NARRATIVA SOBRE O ATLETA QUE ALAVANCOU O JUDÔ NO BRASIL A PARTIR DAS COMPETÊNCIAS DO ESPORTISMO
Este artigo apresenta o resultado de uma pesquisa narrativa, realizada por intermédio de entrevistas e de análise documental, sobre a contribuição das competências que compõem a teoria do Esportismo — atitude, visão, estratégia, execução e trabalho em equipe — para a vida do maior judoca brasileiro, Chiaki Ishii. O artigo é voltado ao período de 2015 a 2016, quando Ishii obteve o título de campeão mundial de veteranos e sua academia se tornou novamente uma das principais do gênero no Brasil. Tal conquista foi alcançada de forma autossustentável através do aumento da receita obtida com o recrutamento de integrantes e a realização de seminários.

Abstract:
This article presents the results of a narrative research, conducted through interviews and document analysis, on the contribution of the competencies that make up the theory of Sportsmanship - attitude, vision, strategy, execution, and teamwork - in Chiaki Ishii’s life, the greatest Brazilian judoka. The article is focused on the period comprised between 2015 and 2016, when Ishii obtained the title of world veteran champion, and his club became once again one of the main ones in Brazil. This was achieved in a self-sustaining manner with an increase in revenue obtained by recruiting members and holding seminars.
