SOCIEDADE E MEIO AMBIENTE: PERSPECTIVAS ÉTICAS ACERCA DA JUSTIÇA SOCIOAMBIENTAL
O objetivo deste estudo é discutir brevemente a superação do atual discurso ambientalista como discurso centrado nos princípios do desenvolvimento socioeconômico global, tomando por base a ausência de preocupação moral com os seres não humanos e com o meio ambiente. Para tanto, é necessário abordar a questão do valor atribuído ao meio ambiente e sua frequente instrumentalização para os interesses do mercado. A partir da perspectiva do valor da 'natureza' e sua conotação como 'fonte de recursos', é possível indagar se há algo capaz de justificar nossas intuições morais de que a natureza pode ser tomada por algo valioso em si mesmo. Com base nas noções de 'capital natural crítico' e de 'irreversibilidade' dos processos que alteram os ecossistemas e afetam as populações, propõe-se a noção de justiça social e ambiental aliada a deveres morais para com entidades que tradicionalmente foram legadas a um plano secundário. O objetivo deste trabalho é fomentar a construção de uma visão ética que permeie as resoluções socioambientais de forma a inserir a 'natureza' no cerne das questões morais da humanidade, juntamente com as questões sociais.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to show briefly the overcoming of the current environmental discourse, that is, the discourse focused on the principles of global socioeconomic development, considering the lack of moral concern for nonhuman beings and for the environment. For this purpose, it is necessary to address the question of the value attributed to the environment and its frequent instrumentalization for the interests of the market. From the perspective of the value of 'nature' and its connotation as a 'source of resources', it is possible to inquire whether there is anything capable of justifying our moral intuitions that nature can be taken for something valuable in itself. Based on the notions of 'critical natural capital' and the 'irreversibility' of processes that alter ecosystems and affect populations, it is proposed the notion of social and environmental justice coupled with moral duties towards entities that have traditionally been bequeathed to a secondary plan. The aim of this work is to foster the construction of an ethical view that permeates socio-environmental resolutions in order to insert 'nature' at the heart of humanity's moral issues, along with social issues.
