RECURSOS DIDÁTICOS NO ENSINO DE CIÊNCIAS: ESTRATÉGIAS USADAS EM ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS DA CIDADE DE PICOS-PI
O componente curricular de Ciências Naturais tem um importante papel na formação do aluno, auxiliando-o no desenvolvimento de competências que lhe permitam compreender o mundo, atuar como indivíduo e como cidadão. O uso dos conhecimentos de natureza científica e tecnológica pelo aluno, favorecem a construção de uma relação do ser humano com a natureza e contribuindo para o desenvolvimento de uma consciência social. A preparação de materiais didáticos no ensino de ciências é um passo importante na prática dos professores, sendo que tais recursos podem trazer curiosidades/interesses para os alunos tornando-os motivados por tal conteúdo. Assim, esse trabalho objetivou investigar e analisar como ocorre a utilização de recursos didáticos por professores de Ciências do Ensino Fundamental atuantes em escolas da rede pública da cidade de Picos-PI. O presente estudo parte de uma análise de indefinição no que se refere à aplicação e articulação do ensino de Biologia e Ciências dentro da educação pública. Os resultados obtidos, mostram que as escolas pesquisadas não possuem tantos recursos para a melhoria do ensino público, e que os recursos didáticos usados pela maioria dos professores são o quadro e Datashow e o livro didático. Tendo em vista esses aspectos, cabe ao professor buscar meios e/ou alternativas para a melhoria do ensino como, por exemplo, aulas de campo.

Abstract:
The curricular component of Natural Sciences has an important role in the formation of the student, helping him in the development of skills that allow him to understand the world, to act as an individual and as a citizen. The use of knowledge of scientific and technological nature by the student, favor building a relationship of humans with nature and contributing to the development of a social conscience. The preparation of didactical materials in science teaching is an important step in the practice of teachers, and such resources can bring curiosities/interests to students making them motivated by such content. Thus, this study aimed to investigate and analyze how is the use of didactic resources by teachers of sciences of Elementary Education active in public schools in the city of Picos-PI. The present study is based on an unclear analysis regarding the application and articulation of Biology and Science teaching within public education. The results obtained show that the schools surveyed do not have as many resources to improve public education and that the didactical resources used by most teachers are the blackboard and Data show and the textbook. In view of these aspects, it is up to the teacher to look for ways and / or alternatives to improve teaching, such as, for example, field classes.
