PLAN DE ACCIÓN PARA LA INNOVACIÓN Y COMPETITIVIDAD DE LA ASOCIACIÓN DE ORGANISMOS DE AGRICULTORES DEL SUR DE SONORA (AOASS), EN EL VALLE DEL YAQUI PARA EL CULTIVO DE TRIGO
Las dificultades que afectan la competitividad y sostenibilidad en la Asociación de Organismos de Agricultores del Sur de Sonora A.C. (AOASS), para el cultivo de trigo se presentan en diferentes ámbitos como son los Económicos, Tecnológicos, Sociales, Científicos y Ambientales. La investigación tuvo como objetivo la elaboración de un plan de acción para fomentar el desarrollo competitivo en la región del valle del yaqui, mediante el impulso de sistemas productivos innovadores en el cultivo de trigo. El estudio se desarrolló aplicando la metodología del marco lógico, así como la metodología de Fortalezas, Oportunidades, Debilidades y Amenazas (FODA). Los resultados permitieron corroborar que la competitividad e innovación implica mejorar las condiciones de la gestión agrícola, los productores deben establecer metas permanentes para lograr una mayor productividad en su actividad, y ser más competitivos con respecto a las condiciones que imperan a nivel regional, nacional e internacional el cultivo de trigo. El marco lógico y el FODA permitieron determinar que la organización en su conjunto puede mejorar potencialmente en la región; concentrando esfuerzos con sus agremiados en las diferentes etapas de la elaboración del plan estratégico.

Abstract:
The difficulties affecting the competitiveness and sustainability of the Association of Farmers’ Organizations of Southern Sonora (AOASS) in wheat cultivation arise in economic, technological, social, scientific, and environmental areas. The objective of the research was to develop an action plan to foster competitive development in the Yaqui Valley region by promoting innovative wheat-production systems. The study applied the logical-framework methodology together with SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). The results confirmed that competitiveness and innovation require improvements in agricultural management conditions. Producers must establish ongoing goals to achieve greater productivity and strengthen competitiveness in relation to regional, national, and international conditions affecting wheat cultivation. The logical framework and SWOT analysis showed that the organization as a whole has significant potential for improvement in the region by concentrating efforts with its members throughout the different stages of strategic-plan development.
