O PARADOXO DO JORNALISMO NA HISTÓRIA IMEDIATA: ANÁLISE CULTURAL DA EXPERIÊNCIA VIVIDA DE PROFISSIONAIS NO COTIDIANO DE UBERLÂNDIA
Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar a narrativa de jornalistas de Uberlândia a partir da seguinte problemática: ao jornalismo pode ser atribuído em sua produção de sentido o status de história? Por meio da abordagem metodológica da Análise Cultural pela teoria dos Estudos Culturais Ingleses, a defesa é que o sujeito esteja com consciência de seu destino histórico, quando efetiva uma parte do processo comunicativo. Mas as indagações no percurso da narrativa nas respostas dos entrevistados demarcam que ora pela rotina, ora pela distração do novo, o jornalista poucas vezes tem consciência de que, no momento em que escreve o texto, está efetivando uma leitura histórica fundante para o seu tempo. Este artigo é resultado da pesquisa para entender as implicações da Cultura no processo de construção de identidade do jornalista que vivenciam o cotidiano de Uberlândia.

Abstract:
This article aims to analyze the narrative of journalists from Uberlândia based on the following problem: can journalism be attributed the status of history in its production of meaning? Through the methodological approach of Cultural Analysis by the theory of English Cultural Studies, the defense is that the subject is aware of his historical destiny, when effective part of the communicative process. But the inquiries in the course of the narrative in the responses of the interviewees indicate that sometimes for the routine, sometimes for the distraction of the new, the journalist is rarely aware that, at the time of writing the text, he is carrying out a fundamental historical reading for his time . This article is the result of research to understand the implications of Culture in the process of building the journalist's identity who experience the daily life of Uberlândia.
