LAS INVERSIONES Y LA COOPERACIÓN ENTRE GUYANA Y CHINA
La República Popular China tiende actualmente al desarrollo económico del país a través de la promoción de los negocios en forma pacífica con diferentes regiones del mundo. Esta política de cooperación y negocios le ha servido para relacionarse con la mayor cantidad de países posibles, respetando la independencia, la integridad territorial, la soberanía, y no interfiriendo con los asuntos internos de los Estados. Lo que queda en evidencia sobre la política exterior china es que busca hacer negocios y cooperar con cualquier clase de país desarrollado o en vías de desarrollo, basándose en el beneficio mutuo para conseguir las materias primas necesarias para el funcionamiento de su economía. La República Cooperativa de Guyana, ubicada al norte de América del Sur, sobre el Océano Atlántico, es un pequeño país con importantes recursos naturales. El objetivo del siguiente trabajo es describir las relaciones económicas chinas con Guyana tanto en inversiones en infraestructura como en la explotación de recursos naturales, a partir de iniciativas tendientes a mejorar las relaciones con América Latina y el Caribe. Al mismo tiempo, China aprovecha la escasez de capital guyanés para el desarrollo de infraestructura y realiza inversiones para la explotación y exportación de los recursos naturales guyaneses.

Abstract:
The People's Republic of China currently aims at the economic development of the country through the promotion of business in a peaceful manner with different regions of the world. This cooperation and business policy has helped it to interact with as many countries as possible, respecting independence, territorial integrity, sovereignty, and not interfering with the internal affairs of States. What is evident about Chinese foreign policy is that it seeks to do business and cooperate with any kind of developed or developing country, based on mutual benefit to obtain the raw materials necessary for the operation of its economy. The Cooperative Republic of Guyana, located in the north of South America, on the Atlantic Ocean, is a small country with important natural resources. The objective of the following work is to describe the Chinese economic relations with Guyana both in infrastructure investments and in the exploitation of natural resources, based on initiatives aimed at improving relations with Latin America and the Caribbean. At the same time, China takes advantage of the scarcity of Guyanese capital for infrastructure development and invests in the exploitation and export of Guyanese natural resources.
