LA MIRADA CONSERVADORA DEL FRENTE POPULAR DESDE PROVINCIAS: PUENTE ALTO 1938-1941.
El artículo tiene como principal objetivo el de caracterizar, desde una mirada de la Historia Local y a través de las perspectivas de las editoriales del periódico conservador de Puente Alto ,”La Libertad”, la visión que tuvieron los conservadores de provincia sobre la coalición de centroizquierda, conocida en la historiografía como El Frente Popular ( 1938-1941). Todo esto a partir desde la óptica de una localidad cercana a la capital, Puente Alto, realizando una descripción temporal de las principales ideas y valores que los frentistas tenían. Especial atención del análisis, es relatar los lineamientos generales que tenía El Frente Popular, así como las características particulares que tenían cada uno de sus integrantes políticos.

Abstract:
The main objective of the article is to characterize, from a local history perspective and through the perspectives of the editorials of the conservative newspaper of Puente Alto, "La Libertad", the vision that the provincial conservatives had on the center-left coalition, known in historiography as The Popular Front (1938-1941). All this from the perspective of a town near the capital, Puente Alto, making a temporary description of the main ideas and values that the fronts had. Special attention to the analysis is to relate the general guidelines that the Popular Front had, as well as the characteristics that each of its political members had.
