  • Abstract:

It is vitally important for teachers to ensure that the higher education institution where they work has a curriculum that describes what the teaching-learning process is, how it is delivered, and why it should be applied. Therefore, each educational institution must have a plan for supervising and monitoring the curriculum in order to be aware of the current situation and act accordingly. Similarly, indicators should be introduced into the evaluations of new applicants for teaching positions that provide information about their pedagogical and didactic shortcomings so that, if they have any, they can be trained and qualified in the sciences of education to perform their duties in accordance with institutional curriculum guidelines. It is vitally important for teachers to ensure that the higher education institution where they work has a curriculum that describes what the teaching-learning process is, how it is delivered, and why it should be applied.
