IDENTIFICACIÓN DE LA PRESENCIA DE ESTUDIANTES DE GERONTOLOGÍA EN EL DESEMPEÑO DE LA PRÁCTICA PRIVADA
Este estudio tiene como finalidad compartir con la comunidad científica, la importancia de visibilizar la actividad que realizan los estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Gerontología en su desempeño como cuidadores formales, y la importancia de su formación a través de actividades extracurriculares que contribuyan a darles seguridad en su desempeño profesional. Se pretende encontrar respuesta: ¿Cómo visibilizar a los estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Gerontología que se dedican a la práctica privada como cuidadores formales, durante su formación académica? El objetivo general es: Diseñar un instrumento que permita identificar a los estudiantes que se dedican a la práctica de cuidados formales. El tipo de estudio es documental, con alcance descriptivo y diseño no experimental, de tipo transversal. Resultados: Propuesta de diseño de dos instrumentos en Forms de Google. Se recomienda ofrecer opciones de formación continua que permita mejorar el desempeño de los estudiantes como cuidadores formales.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to share with the scientific community, the importance of making visible the activity carried out by the students of the Degree in Gerontology in their performance as formal caregivers, and the importance of their training through extracurricular activities that contribute to giving them security in their professional performance trying to find an answer: How to make visible the students of the Degree in Gerontology who are dedicated to private practice as formal caregivers, during their academic training? The general objective is: Design an instrument that allows the identification of students who dedicate themselves to the practice of formal care. The type of study is documentary, with a descriptive scope and non-experimental design, of a cross-sectional type. Results: Design proposal of two instruments in Google Forms. It is recommended to offer continuous training options to improve the performance of students as formal caregivers.
