FORMAÇÃO DE PROFESSORES E TRANSMISSÃO DE CULTURA: A EDUCAÇÃO MUSICAL NA CIDADE DE PIRENÓPOLIS – GOIÁS

Na cidade de Pirenópolis a cultura popular perpassa pela comunidade com seus festejos, religiosidade, músicas, cantos e instrumentos, fazendo parte da rotina de seus moradores. As relações de transmissão1 dessa cultura abrangem da oralidade à instituição escolar, promovendo o saber e a vivência das crianças e jovens na perpetuação dessas festas. E, estabelecer as relações entre cultura popular e educação, é um grande desafio para os professores de educação musical, no contexto escolar, que enfrentam questões que diminuem a possibilidade da transmissão efetiva dos conhecimentos e vivências da cultura presente na cidade. O objetivo desta pesquisa é compreender quais nuances permeiam a educação musical em escolas estaduais de Pirenópolis e se as Orientações Curriculares de Música do estado de Goiás é realidade no planejamento e atuação dos professores. Tratando-se da área de Formação de Professores e parte de uma pesquisa de projeto de doutorado, pretendemos realizar uma pesquisa junto a alguns professores de música dessa cidade, investigando as relações de transmissão de cultura e a prática pedagógica através das Orientações Curriculares de Música. Esperamos contribuir com a pesquisa na educação musical, com as práticas dos professores desta cidade e a compreensão verticalizada destas Orientações Curriculares. 1 Trataremos este termo no sentido de transmissão e produção de cultura, mas não como uma mera transmissão bancária (FREIRE, 2005), mas no sentido de construção e compreensão crítica, compreensão do conhecimento cultural como prática pedagógica e como prática da vida cotidiana.

  • Abstract:

    In the city of Pirenópolis, popular culture permeates the community with its festivities, religiosity, songs, songs and instruments, being part of the routine of its residents. The transmission relations of this culture range from orality to the school institution, promoting the knowledge and experience of children and young people in the perpetuation of these celebrations. And establishing relations between popular culture and education is a great challenge for teachers of music education in the school context who face issues that diminish the possibility of effectively transmitting the knowledge and experiences of the present culture in the city. The objective of this research is to understand which nuances permeate the musical education in state schools of Pirenópolis and if the Curricular Guidelines of Music of the state of Goiás is reality in the planning and performance of the teachers. In the area of ​​teacher training and part of a doctoral project research, we intend to carry out a research with some music teachers of this city, investigating the relations of transmission of culture and pedagogical practice through the Curriculum Guidelines of Music. We hope to contribute to research in music education, to the practices of the teachers of this city and to the vertical understanding of these Curricular Guidelines.
