EL PERFIL DOCENTE PARA IMPARTIR EDUCACIÓN AMBIENTAL EN EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR
El papel del docente que labora en la educación superior y la función que realizan dentro de ellas con el paso del tiempo ha tomado gran importancia para el éxito o fracaso del proceso educativo disciplinar; por ello el perfil que deben poseer es un aspecto básico y sustancial a considerar cuando se designa a este personal educativo para impartir educación ambiental a los alumnos. Sus competencias disciplinares, pedagógicas, y didácticas adecuadas le permitirán desarrollar temática verticales y transversales dentro de las asignaturas y contenidos que imparte logrando con ello que el hecho formativo sea exitoso y logre incidir en sus alumnos transformando su cultura y conciencia ambiental gracias a su trabajo académico, pedagógico y profesional.

Abstract:
The role of teachers working in higher education and the function they perform within it over time has become extremely important for the success or failure of the disciplinary educational process. Therefore, the profile they should have is a basic and substantial aspect to consider when appointing this educational staff to provide environmental education to students. Their appropriate disciplinary, pedagogical, and didactic skills will enable them to develop vertical and cross-cutting themes within the subjects and content they teach, thereby ensuring that the educational process is successful and has an impact on their students, transforming their environmental culture and awareness thanks to their academic, pedagogical, and professional work.
