EDUCACIÓN AMBIENTAL EN ALUMNOS DEL NIVEL MEDIO SUPERIOR: MÉXICO
El deterioro ambiental, es causado por el excesivo uso de los recursos naturales (Benayas, Marcén, Alba & Gutiérrez, 2017) y el aumento económico acelerado (Álvarez & Vega, 2009), encontrando una posible solución en la Educación Ambiental, para poder equilibrar a la naturaleza y alcanzar la sustentabilidad (Benayas, Marcén, Alba & Gutiérrez, 2017), por lo que en esta investigación se tiene como objetivo medir el nivel de Educación Ambiental en alumnos del Nivel Medio Superior. México. El instrumento utilizado fue CATES, y se aplicó a una población de 50 estudiantes del 3° grado del nivel medio superior, encontrando en los resultados que la población en general tiene un Nivel de Educación Ambiental Media con el 72.50%. Sin embargo, es de vital importancia seguir integrando la Educación Ambiental en los programas educativos, para que de esta manera los estudiantes sean más conscientes de sus acciones y agregar talleres, clubs y actividades que fomente el cuidado del medio ambiente en la población.

Abstract:
The environmental deterioration is caused by the excessive use of natural resources (Benayas, Marcén, Alba & Gutiérrez, 2017) and the accelerated economic increase (Álvarez & Vega, 2009), finding a possible solution in Environmental Education, in order to balance to nature and achieve sustainability (Benayas, Marcén, alba & Gutiérrez, 2017), so this research aims to measure the level of Environmental Education in students of the Upper Level. México. The instrument used was CATES, and it was applied to a population of 50 3rd grade students of the upper secondary level, finding in the results that the general population has a Medium Environmental Education Level with 72.50%. However, it is of vital importance to continue integrating Environmental Education into educational programs, so that students can be more aware of their actions and add workshops, clubs and activities that promote the care of the environment in the population.
