EDUCACIÓN AMBIENTAL DE ESTUDIANTES EN PREPARATORIA AGRÍCOLA, UACh.
El trabajo analiza el contexto de la educación ambiental en el nivel medio superior, en la Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, incluye 11 estados de la República Mexicana, la investigación es de carácter exploratorio que combina el método cuantitativo y cualitativo para diagnosticar la cultura y educación ambiental que reciben los estudiantes de preparatoria. Los resultados indican que los estudiantes poseen un nivel de cultura ambiental bajo y carecen de habilidades, destrezas, valores y conocimientos, que favorezca una cultura de respeto al medio ambiente. El 46% de los estudiantes, regularmente no han recibido formación que los estímule a resolver problemas del medio ambiente. No obstante, el 41% de los estudiantes casi siempre se les ha orientado acerca de la educacion ambiental con acciones como son plantar árboles, reciclar, reutilizar, ahorrar energía eléctrica, pero pocas veces las han llevado a la práctica. El 66% piensa que es importante inculcar valores desde la perspectiva educativa, tranformar el comportamiento y prácticas que favorezcan al medio ambiente (degradación, contaminación, abuso de los recursos naturales, etc.) que respondan a los problemas ambientales; el 46% cree que depende del individuo para conseguir mayor implicación social en la pro-ambientalidad. Si bien, los estudiantes manifiestan interés por la temática ambiental, los desalienta el contexto institucional y el bajo nivel de habilitación de los profesores en la cultura y educación ambiental. Los resultados permiten identificar que la educación media superior establece el espacio formativo responsable en el que los jóvenes empiezan a ejercer sus derechos y obligaciones como ciudadanos, adquieran los conocimientos y habilidades que les permita tomar decisiones informadas y responsables para integrarse de una manera satisfactoria al desarrollo del país.

Abstract:
The work analyzes the context of environmental education at the upper middle level, at the Autonomous University of Chapingo, includes 11 states of the Mexican Republic, the research is exploratory in nature that combines the quantitative and qualitative method to diagnose the culture and environmental education that High school students receive. The results indicate that students have a low level of environmental culture and lack skills, abilities, values and knowledge, which favors a culture of respect for the environment. 46% of students have not regularly received training that encourages them to solve environmental problems. However, 41% of students have almost always been guided about environmental education with actions such as planting trees, recycling, reusing, saving electricity, but rarely have they put them into practice. 66% think it is important to instill values from an educational perspective, to transform behavior and practices that favor the environment (degradation, pollution, abuse of natural resources, etc.) that respond to environmental problems; 46% believe that it depends on the individual to achieve greater social involvement in pro-environmentality. Although students express interest in environmental issues, they are discouraged by the institutional context and the low level of qualification of teachers in environmental culture and education. The results allow us to identify that high school education establishes the responsible training space in which young people begin to exercise their rights and obligations as citizens, acquire the knowledge and skills that allow them to make informed and responsible decisions to integrate in a satisfactory way to development from the country.
