CREACIÓN Y DESARROLLO DE UN CENTRO DE PROMOCIÓN AMBIENTAL MATLALCUÉYATL PARA LA RECUPERACIÓN Y CONSERVACIÓN DE ÁREAS NATURALES PROTEGIDAS: CASO: ZITLALTEPEC, TLAXCALA, MÉXICO
Las Áreas Naturales Protegidas en México enfrentan problemas de conservación y recuperación de sus ecosistemas endémicos y frágiles, como en el caso del Parque Nacional La Malinche y del área natural protegida. El objetivo de esta investigación es generar estrategias y acciones para su conservación y recuperación de manera sistemática e incluyente. Las primeras estrategias utilizadas, fueron talleres informativos, donde se expusieron y se conocieron las necesidades y problemáticas de la comunidad referente a la conservación y regeneración del parque. Estos talleres fueron impartidos por especialistas de la Universidad Autónoma de México, de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos y del Instituto Politécnico Nacional. Estos trabajos se realizaron durante varios años. La metodología utilizada fue el Modelo de Acciones de Socioecogestión Turística que utiliza un enfoque participativo, investigación-acción, usando técnicas de diálogo y construcción colectiva para la recolección de información, con la aplicación y seguimiento del modelo dio como principales resultados la concientización, entendimiento, educación y permanencia de los ecosistemas existentes, ésta opción tuvo el involucramiento de las comunidades locales y el particular interés de la Secretaria de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales del Estado de Tlaxcala, actores receptivos a las necesidades del Área Natural Protegida de la Malinche y por tanto la creación y construcción del Centro de Promoción Ambiental Matlalcuéyatl o Malinche, cumpliendo con el propósito de concientizar a visitantes hacia el turismo sosteniblemente regenerativo a través de la impartición de cursos de acciones sosteniblemente regenerativas, cuidado del lugar, reforestación, instalación de cámaras sordas, información ambiental de los ecosistemas existentes de La Malinche, concluyendo que las actividades turísticas sosteniblemente regenerativas son las aproximaciones más cercanas a la conservación y recuperación regenerativa de las Áreas Naturales Protegidas como La Malinche.

Abstract:
Natural Protected Areas in Mexico face challenges in conserving and recovering their endemic and fragile ecosystems, as in the case of La Malinche National Park and the protected natural area. The objective of this research is to generate strategies and actions for their conservation and recovery in a systematic and inclusive way. The first strategies used were informative workshops, where the community's needs and problems regarding the conservation and regeneration of the park were presented and identified. These workshops were led by specialists from the Autonomous University of Mexico, the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, and the National Polytechnic Institute. These activities were carried out over several years. The methodology used was the Model of Actions of Tourism Socio-eco-management, which uses a participatory, research-action approach and techniques of dialogue and collective construction for the collection of information. The application and monitoring of the model yielded as main results increased awareness, understanding, education, and the permanence of the existing ecosystems. This option involved local communities and the particular interest of the Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources of the State of Tlaxcala, actors receptive to the needs of the Malinche Natural Protected Area, and therefore led to the creation and construction of the Matlalcuéyatl or Malinche Environmental Promotion Center, fulfilling the purpose of raising awareness among visitors toward sustainably regenerative tourism through the teaching of courses on sustainably regenerative actions, care of the place, reforestation, installation of deaf cameras, and environmental information on the existing ecosystems of La Malinche. The study concludes that sustainably regenerative tourism activities are the closest approaches to the conservation and regenerative recovery of Natural Protected Areas such as La Malinche.
