AÇÕES DE INTERNACIONALIZAÇÃO DO IFMT CAMPUS BARRA DO GARÇAS: OPORTUNIDADES E POSSIBILIDADES A PARTIR DAS LÍNGUAS ESTRANGEIRAS
Este capítulo tem por objetivo apresentar um relato de experiências exitosas no âmbito da Área Internacional (AI) do IFMT campus Barra do Garças. As ações de ‘internacionalização do IFMT’ visam proporcionar suporte à comunidade docente, discente e comunidade externa com interesse específico na internacionalização, por meio da participação de editais de intercâmbio, bem como projetos e cursos de conversação em inglês, espanhol e português para estrangeiros, possibilitando estratégias que contribuam para o desenvolvimento e expansão da AI no campus, bem como fomentar o interesse dos servidores e estudantes a produzirem e buscarem conhecimento para além da nossa comunidade e da nossa língua materna. As ações acontecem desde 2015, por meio de palestras sobre internacionalização, minicursos, oficinas e rodas de conversa sobre línguas internacionais e nacionais, tais como: inglês, espanhol, alemão, italiano, etc. Para intensificar as ações realizadas e a vivência com as línguas estrangeiras o campus Barra do Garças recebe, desde 2016, intercambistas de várias partes do mundo, o que leva a comunidade à ruptura das barreiras linguísticas e sociais e à quebra de estereótipos. No âmbito linguístico e inclusivo, o campus atende alunos surdos e conta com a assistência de intérpretes de LIBRAS. Todas as experiências e boas práticas realizadas pela equipe da AI mostraram-se ricas e proveitosas, uma vez que os técnicos administrativos e docentes envolvidos nas atividades puderam observar, na rotina de suas aulas e de suas relações com os estudantes, o aumento do interesse pelas línguas, desde que as atividades da AI foram intensificadas. Diante do exposto, é possível perceber que, com as ações desenvolvidas, o interesse da comunidade escolar pela internacionalização aumentou significativamente.

Abstract:
Abstract: This chapter objective to present an account of exotic experiences within the scope of the International Area (IA) of the IFMT Barra de Garças campus. The 'IFMT internationalization' actions aim to offer support to the community of teachers, students and external community with specific interest in internationalization, through the participation of exchange editors, in addition to conversational projects and courses in English, Spanish and Portuguese for foreigners, enabling strategies that contribute to the development and expansion of AI on the Barra de Garças campus, in addition to stimulating the interest of public officials and students in producing and seeking knowledge beyond our community and our mother tongue. The actions happen since 2015, by means of lectures on internationalization, short courses, workshops and conversation circles in foreign national and international languages, such as: English, Spanish, German, Italian, etc. To intensify the actions carried out and the experience with foreign languages, the Barra do Garças campus has been receiving exchange students from various parts of the world since 2016, which lead to the rupture of linguistic and social barriers and the rupture of stereotypes. All the experiences and good practices carried out by the AI team proved to be rich and profitable, since the administrative technicians and teachers involved in the activities were able to observe, in the routine of their classes and their relations with students, the increase in interest in languages, since AI activities have been stepped up. Given the above, it is possible to see that, with actions taken, the interest of the school community in internationalization has increased significantly.
