A MEDICALIZAÇÃO E A CONSTRUÇÃO DAS ESTRUTURAS COGNITIVAS DE CRIANÇAS COM DIFICULDADES DE APRENDIZAGEM
Inúmeras crianças e adolescentes, sob os mais diversos diagnósticos e medicações, são encaminhados por educadores, psiquiatras e psicólogos para o atendimento psicopedagógico diariamente. A partir desse contexto, este trabalho originado em uma pesquisa de mestrado e fundamentado na perspectiva teórica da Epistemologia e Psicologia Genéticas de Jean Piaget, trata-se dos resultados de um estudo exploratório de natureza qualitativa que tem como objetivo principal investigar qual a natureza das estruturas cognitivas de estudantes diagnosticados com dificuldades de aprendizagem de conteúdos escolares, os quais foram encaminhados ao Núcleo de Investigação dos Problemas de Aprendizagem e Desenvolvimento (UNICAMP). Para isso, foram utilizadas as provas Piagetianas de Diagnóstico do Comportamento Operatório e da noção de Multiplicação com 06 estudantes de 07 a 11 anos, além de entrevistas clínicas semiestruturadas com seus responsáveis legais. Os resultados encontrados revelam um atraso no desenvolvimento das estruturas cognitivas e carecem de atenção das instituições.

Abstract:
Currently, many children and adolescents, diagnosed and medicated, are referred by educators, psychiatrists and psychologists for psychopedagogical service. From this context, this article, based on the theoretical perspective of the Epistemology and Genetic Psychology of Jean Piaget, deals with the results of a qualitative research of master's degree that has as main objective to investigate the nature of the cognitive structures of children diagnosed with difficulties of learning of school contents. Students sent to the psycho-pedagogical service of Center for Psychopedagogical Research on Problems of Learning and Development (UNICAMP). For this, the Piagetian tests of Operative Behavior Diagnosis and the notion of multiplication were used, in addition to the semi-structured clinical interviews. Six students between the ages of 7 and 11 participated in the study. In conclusion, the results show a delay in the development of cognitive structures and lack attention of the institutions.
